Plankton
Wet FIP

Bloated abdomen

Plankton, a 4-month-old British shorthair kitten, came to us with FIP indicative symptoms that had been developing over the past 2 weeks. She was experiencing inappetence and reduced activity level, which had further developed to a bloated abdomen, a prominent wet FIP symptom. Clinical tests of FCoV antibody titer and Rivalta test came back positive.

Plankton was started with The FurPurr GS441524 FIP treatment at 6mg/kg. Plankton started to regain appetite within 2 days of treatment. After 2 weeks of treatment, the bloated tummy has subsided more than 30% and Plankton has also regained agility and playfulness. The progress continued to improve throughout treatment.

After 84 days of GS441524 antiviral therapy, Plankton completed the treatment.  Plankton is clinically normal 2 months post treatment.
